Welcome to Zack's Hobby Farm.The Farm is as the name implies - just a hobby. We enjoy raising chickens, ducks, & have four Nigerian Dwarf goats as pets. Three dogs, two cats, & one parrot round out the rest. Spring & Summer is spent raising a garden from which we freeze and can various vegetables.

     I've started this blog as a spin-off to my posts in Facebook. For over a year I've been posting "Hobby Farm Updates" but have become increasingly frustrated with the FB format. The layout of FB makes it difficult to post pictures with captions. I have been humbled by the many friends (who don't typically comment on FB) how much they enjoy looking at the pictures I've taken.

     I'm hoping the Blogger format will allow me to post better pictures, snippets of daily life, & articles - all the time hoping you find it enjoyable & keep coming back for more.
